My inspiration was to have a pair of earrings with this intensity because I wanted to work on my embroidery skills. I recently just taught a lesson on embroidery and I wanted to try something new that I haven't done before. Creating more of a story and a composition was something I have seen so much in textiles work but I've never actually made something to this capacity. So since I have a lot of time now because of the quarantine,  I wanted to do something different. With so much isolation, I wanted to move around and go on an adventure! Escaping the world is what we all want to do right now but as it feels like it is crumbling beneath us and at our fingertips we need to embrace it. We will get through this and be stronger on the other side. One of the ways we can get through this is by making art.
